Quality public education for ALL children
I am running for re-election to the Rochester Public School Board because I believe in these priorities:
Creating quality public education for all children
Building healthy partnerships between the board and students, parents, teachers, staff, and administration
Engaging parents, business owners and community members in the workings of the district
During the last four years, I have worked with my fellow board members to provide quality education for over 17,000 students by increasing opportunities in Career and Technology learning (CTECH, Project Lead the Way) and Alternative Learning settings, planning for expansion of pre-K opportunities, and the Community Schools model.
Serving our diverse learners requires commitment, dedication, and investment in human and financial capital. I will continue to work diligently to provide opportunities for input and feedback through the board's new Community Engagement Committee.
Together we can do better.
